COVID-19の蔓延が2型糖尿病患者の代謝因子に与えた影響を検討した。2020年と2019年の5月に受診した糖尿病患者819例と1,166例から，過去6ヵ月間に処方変更のなかった2型糖尿病例を抽出し，傾向スコアマッチング法で臨床背景を一致させた各298例を対象とした。2020年群では，前年の11月から体重，収縮期血圧，血清LDL-コレステロール，non HDL-コレステロール値が有意に上昇していた。6ヵ月間の変化量の平均値はそれぞれ0.1kg，1mmHg，4mg/dL，6mg/dLであり，2019年群における-0.6kg，-1mmHg，1mg/dL，0mg/dLに比して有意に高値であった。

   Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the variations of metabolic factors in patients with type 2 diabetes was investigated. After the clinical backgrounds were matched using a propensity score matching for the patients with type 2 diabetes who had not changed their prescription for the past 6 months and visited our outpatient clinic in May 2020 and 2019, respectively, 298 patients each were investigated. In the 2020 group, body weight, systolic blood pressure, serum LDL-cholesterol and non HDL-cholesterol concentrations significantly increased during the observation from November of the previous year. The change over 6 months was 0.1±2.2kg，1±16mmHg，4±20mg/dL，6±22mg/dL, respectively, and those were significantly higher than the corresponding values in the 2019 group (-0.6±2.5kg，-1±15mmHg，1±18mg/dL，0±20mg/dL, respectively).
