要約
Abstract
Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the variations of metabolic factors in patients with type 2 diabetes was investigated. After the clinical backgrounds were matched using a propensity score matching for the patients with type 2 diabetes who had not changed their prescription for the past 6 months and visited our outpatient clinic in May 2020 and 2019, respectively, 298 patients each were investigated. In the 2020 group, body weight, systolic blood pressure, serum LDL-cholesterol and non HDL-cholesterol concentrations significantly increased during the observation from November of the previous year. The change over 6 months was 0.1±2.2kg,1±16mmHg,4±20mg/dL,6±22mg/dL, respectively, and those were significantly higher than the corresponding values in the 2019 group (-0.6±2.5kg,-1±15mmHg,1±18mg/dL,0±20mg/dL, respectively).
